Mr. Hamidzadeh joined the firm in 1998 as an associate and has been the Managing Partner of the Irvine branch since 2003. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from California State University, Northridge and Juris Doctorate Degree from the Colleges of Law in Ventura, California, where he received the Outstanding Performance Award for his work as lead counsel in Civil Trial Advocacy, Criminal Trial Advocacy, and Legal Research & Writing. Houman’s experience in the workers’ compensation industry began in 1991, initially as a hearing representative and subsequently as an attorney. In partnership with many Fortune 500 companies, insurance carriers, third-party administrators (TPAs), and investigative companies, he has successfully litigated numerous cases including the notable Beverly Hilton Hotel v. WCAB and Samson Boganim (2009) before the Second District Court of Appeal. Through his compelling med-legal cross-examination techniques and pragmatic cost-risk case analysis, Houman’s enterprising approach to case management has led to his current specialization in catastrophic and high exposure cases. He also devotes significant time and effort in training client’s and participating as an instructor at the Sedgwick Claims College.

Houman is happily married to his wife of over 23 years Heidi and has two children, Ryan and Emily. His love and devotion to his family is his greatest achievement, and his children are his greatest legacy. He enjoys and appreciates wit, cigars and a good single malt Scotch. He also loves Boxing and Soccer, finding both to be excellent stress busters.
