Elnaz “Elli” Mirza graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Western State College of Law in Irvine, California. While at Western State College of Law, Ms. Mirza was involved in the Student Bar Association and Iranian Law Student Association. Her experience before practicing workers’ compensation defense includes family law, immigration law (specializing in asylum cases), and intellectual property law (with focus on copyrights and trademarks). In her free time, Ms. Mirza enjoys staying active by volunteering (including I Love a Clean San Diego, San Diego Food Bank, and Feeding San Diego), exercising at the gym, knitting, reading, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and taking her Yorkshire terrier, Charlie, to the dog beach. She is fluent in Farsi.
