Education & Biography
Mr. Bani, is a Senior Attorney representing insurance carriers, self-insured employers and public entities in all aspects of workers’ compensation defense from the inception of cases until their resolution. He devises litigation strategy, conducts discovery, attends settlement conferences, hearings and trials before WCABs throughout Southern California.
Before joining Wai, Connor & Hamidzadeh, Arya worked as outside counsel for a major carriers handling civil liability, commercial liability, and construction defect. He has had extensive litigation in the civil arena.
Arya received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 1993. Arya joined the firm in April of 2000.
Arya has continued to practice in all phases of defense workers compensation claims including Serious and Willful Misconduct actions, and Labor Code section 132a claims. Arya has more than 28 years’ experience in litigation working with employers and third party administrators to proactively and aggressively handling workers compensation matters.
Arya feels that client engagement including on the employer side is central to successful defense litigation and he is committed to maintain a high level of communications and mutual cooperation to reach the optimal results for his clients.
Arya, is married and has three daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family and attending his daughters’ soccer games locally and throughout the country. Arya enjoys movies, going to sporting events, spending time with his wife, kids, extended family and has active social life.
